About Us

We are Geoff, Keri-Rose, and Levi. We (Geoff and Keri-Rose) are Christians and long-term newlyweds who have recently expanded to include a sweet outdoors loving baby-man named Levi.  As it turns out, two out of three of us are allergic to Florida. This is a bit problematic since Florida is our current home. So for eight-fold reasons (that’s another story) we started talking about moving in late 2014.  After stumbling on a few articles on the internet, we began to consider the Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington areas.  But all of our information about the area (and the hopefulness of not being itchy while living there) was entirely theoretical.  And due to the small logistical issue of flying with an active infant/todder, going for an extended visit seemed somewhat cantankerous.

One day after a series of events Geoff casually suggested we could buy an RV and drive our house, cats and potentially boisterous treasure-from-God to Oregon. To everyone’s surprise, this turned out to be not as crazy as it initially seemed (read, pinterest had me at pretty pictures of renovating fifth wheels). In fact, we started to get very excited by the idea and spent far too many late nights researching RVs, campgrounds, and vehicles.

We have spent the last year wrestling with decisions from how long to stay at a location to where we are going to put the litter box to how to attend Bible Study Fellowship (in the middle of Revelation) to what layout of RV we would like to where to attend church while we travel.  We hope this blog would be a way to share our adventure with our friends and family but we also hope that someone with their own itch in the future might benefit from it too.
