The beginning.

Every adventure starts with a beginning.  We have been praying and thinking and planning for our adventure for almost a year now.  Recently we got to do something more than just planning, we had our beloved realtors over to see the house and tell us what still needed to be done before it was ready for the market.  It was pretty exciting to know they thought it was perfect just the way it was!  Good news!

So after we finish up a little project (or 7) we are working on, we will be ready to list the house.  And when we say “we” we mean not us, but our friend and contractor Dohme Construction! He speaks ‘permit’ and we are pretty grateful for that.

So until our projects are done we are working on #thegreatpurgeof2015 aka Step 2. So if you need anything like a juicer or used shoes, please let us know! We can help 🙂

I’d buy the Sweet Truck first 🙂

Well, I agree and disagree 🙂 We are waiting till an appropriate time and then will get the truck. But just because we buy the RV doesn’t mean we HAVE to have the truck first. There is always the beauty of delivery. And not learning to tow our sweet new house through the I-4, 275 junction 🙂 But we’ll see how it unfolds. 🙂 Thanks for reading! And fixing our house 🙂

And what is the destination of your embarkation? I.e.where is the Lord leading your little family?

Well, that’s a longer story with multiple stops, I presume. But first stop is Mt. Airy North Carolina to visit our friends-turned-farmers. And then we will head west, most likely. Possible stops include Nashville/Ashville areas, Geoff’s hometown Lubbock, TX, New Mexico, hopefully Tulsa, San Diego and then up to the Oregon and Washington areas. And if the weather and seasons are appropriate, Colorado. But all of that is completely dependent on how things unfold. Ultimately, we would like to make it to Vancouver, Washington to check it out before we are done RVing.
